Arneis (are-nayz) is native to Piedmont, Northern Italy and in local dialect means 'little rascal'. This is a direct reference to the difficult cultivation and fickle nature of the variety. The wine is defined by a delicate white floral note, soft nashi pear flavours, a hint of ginger spice and citrus purity on the palate. It has fruit clarity with underlying textural complexity.
Available by the dozen only.
